A few tips for you, seeing as I’m older, wiser and have in my possession a wonderful thing called hindsight:
1. Don’t sell all of your old toys at a bootfair. They will be worth something in a few years time, esp. the Star Wars figurines.
2. Don’t worry about pushing yourself to do 4 A Levels – you’ll only fail the 4th one anyhow.
3. Stop smoking now, as the quitting process only gets worse as you get older.
4. Read more! It will pay off later.
5. All that time on the computer is totally justified and will eventually get you a job so keep it up! 6. Yes, you’re geeky, but geek chic is just around the corner.
7. Don’t drink at the Ottakar’s Christmas do in 2001 – you will regret it for years to come!
8. Do enjoy a drink at the Ottakar’s Christmas do in 2002 - this is where you will meet your soulmate, but his hair will be horrible and he’ll have a wine stain down his shirt so you’ll need your beer-goggles on for the first night.
9. You friends now will be your friends for life so treasure them always.
10. Trust your instincts and don’t talk yourself out of doing things.
