Yes, a tough 16th birthday, I know. Right now, you're living away from home, just a baby, doing stuff you hate doing. You don't have a clue what you want to do with your life, do you? 16 feels like it should be a good time, but it isn't...

The most important thing you need to know, right now tho, is that I totally love you. It might seem to you that I don't, but I really do. Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better... you're going to do a bunch of really stupid things, but you will survive + that's the main thing. You'll realise that every apparently crap thing that ever happens to you is to show you how many people are there for you + love you as much as I do.

Don't read Cleo or Cosmo - all that crap they write about sex and orgasms and how to have more fun with more sexual partners is total rubbish. Don't listen to any of it. Trust your own intuition - it's almost always on the money. Don't believe anything your mother says about you, because absolutely none of it is true. You are a sweet, sensitive, loving, smart, wonderful person - and I should know, because I'm you!!
